This is so similar to my old Sunday School I didn’t know that their was a Church of Barrack Obama now? It even has its own Sunday School.

All levelly aside, the talks of mandatory or even incentivised national service is one scary thought. Now there is nothing wrong with some sort of service, but to have the government basically give somebody money in the form of tax brakes in order to get people to do some national service is kind of scary. That isn’t volunteer work, that is regular work. Nobody is going to want to volunteer at their local salvation army when the government can give out incentives that no other charity could possibly match. And of course the fact that the government will determine what is a worthwhile cause for this “service,” and you can be pretty sure that it will be the special interest groups that get all of these “volunteers” and any organization without friends in Washington will be left high and dry trying to compete with the government’s idea of service and its incentives that no private organization could hope to match. ]

Now get your students out there so they can become good little citizens in their government schools and their national “service.” It’s not like you will have a chance when they make service mandatory for all good little citizens, no matter what that silly little document called the constitution says about involuntary servitude.

He was so close to turning his life around until the government gets wind of him. You see Larry was so successful in his shoe shine business and his turning his life around story that the local media picked up on him. Of course the bureaucrats can’t let a moving story like that continue, they must destroy all things good. Even though the local businesses had no problem with him shining shoes, the government couldn’t let it go. They demanded a $491 permit. A good chunk of his rent. Well, he went over and tried to pay, but being homeless he didn’t have a valid ID. He had pay money to have a copy of his birth certificate sent to him, and then he had to pay money to get an ID. But of course, the government just wanted to educate him. The “to be a slave” part must have been implied.

In other words, the City of Nottingham has stolen the tiny helpless innocent daughter from this mother. A mother who has not harmed nor even shown that she is likely to harm the baby. It is beyond comprehension how we live in a world where these social workers are not already in jail and/or paying restitution to this mother for the pain and suffering they have caused her, instead of making money for the government by adopting the child out. These people are scum. They are reprehensible and are an embarrassment to the entire human race. If there are advanced civilizations out there watching us, the reason they have probably have not made contact with us is because they see people like this.

Let’s just look at a few of his policies. I don’t think I really have to say much about them.  Dr. Emanual, the brother of Obama’s Chief of Staff, and my former Congressman Rahm Emanuel, has said some pretty disturbing things to say.x

First in a June 2008 issue of JAMA, he blames the Hipocratic Oath for the “overuse” of medical care.

“Medical school education and post graduate education emphasize thoroughness,” he writes. “This culture is further reinforced by a unique understanding of professional obligations, specifically the Hippocratic Oath’s admonition to ‘use my power to help the sick to the best of my ability and judgment’ as an imperative to do everything for the patient regardless of cost or effect on others.”

He says that there will be hard choices to make.

“In the next decade every country will face very hard choices about how to allocate scarce medical resources. There is no consensus about what substantive principles should be used to establish priorities for allocations,” he wrote in the New England Journal of Medicine, Sept. 19, 2002. Yet Dr. Emanuel writes at length about who should set the rules, who should get care, and who should be at the back of the line.

He suggests that when making these decisions, the focus must be on who will be best for the “good of the people.”  Of course, what is best for the “good of the people,” will be determined by the government, specifically him.

“Substantively, it suggests services that promote the continuation of the polity—those that ensure healthy future generations, ensure development of practical reasoning skills, and ensure full and active participation by citizens in public deliberations—are to be socially guaranteed as basic. Covering services provided to individuals who are irreversibly prevented from being or becoming participating citizens are not basic, and should not be guaranteed. An obvious example is not guaranteeing health services to patients with dementia.” (Hastings Center Report, November-December, 1996)

I wouldn’t be surprised to see similar writings as the above in a Nazi Eugenics Manuel.

And of course, age should also be taken into account.

“However, other things are rarely equal—whether to save one 20-year-old, who might live another 60 years, if saved, or three 70-year-olds, who could only live for another 10 years each—is unclear.” In fact, Dr. Emanuel makes a clear choice: “When implemented, the complete lives system produces a priority curve on which individuals aged roughly 15 and 40 years get the most substantial chance, whereas the youngest and oldest people get changes that are attenuated.

He even illustrated his point using the following Reaper Curve in a Lancet article.

All in all, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel is a sick sick person and Obama is sick person for relying on his advice.

All was going well until Peter Eyre decided that he was going to take on a different project called the Motor Home Diaries, where he and a few other people go around the country looking for freedom. Now I had stopped paying attention to Buereaucrash (and liberty activism in general) for awhile until I heard on Free Talk Live, Ian talking about how Bureaucrash has really lost it’s way and how he along with many others had left Bureaucrash Social (the networking portion of Bureaucrash) and joined a group called Fr33 Agents started by former members of Bureaucrash including former Crasher-In-Chief Jason Talley.

Now I needed to figure out what had happened to what was quit honestly my favorite liberty organization. I searched the internet and found disturbing information and by accident listened to an archive of Free Talk Live that told me what I needed to know. Apparently the Competitive Enterprise Institute had hired one Lee Doren, a conservative blogger and Youtube News Guy. A self-described libertarian-conservative or as he sometimes puts it part of the “traditional wing” of the liberty movement. It did not look good. What he said on Free Talk Live in that archive, and what can be found on the internet of what he supports is not very libertarian at all.

As Norman from Libertarian Longhorns writes about Lee:

* He supports the FairTax Plan and the FlatTax plan. (Any reader of LCC should know that the FlatTax is not flat and the FairTax is not fair.)
* He supports “school choice” programs. (The only school choice a true libertarian can support is disassembling the public school system.)
* He supports the Iraq War and other wars of aggression.
* He openly admits that he voted for Mitt Romney in the last presidential primary rather than consider the principled Ron Paul.
* He does not consistently hold to the Non-Aggression principle, as admitted on Free Talk Live.

The first four are horrible, but of course all you need to know is that last one, because if you don’t hold to the Non-Agression principle you are simply not a Libertarian.  And of course, the first four would be a violation of that principle anyway.

To put it simply, Lee Doren along with the Competitive Enterprise Institute has killed Bureaucrash, turning it the way of the Libertarian Party. Where they sacrifice principle in order to try and reach a larger audience. Too many have left the organization to form other organizations such as Fr33Agents.com or ABC Action (After Bureaucrash) that even if a new Crash-In-Chief was hired right away, it would never be the same.

According to the Chicago Tribune, a Libertyville Illinois women called the cops because her adult child was angry and depressed, and hitting the wall. It seemed that he had a gun and was contemplating killing himself. The cops came over, went upstairs to where the guy was and the guy ended up shot the back by the cops. For hours the cops wouldn’t tell this poor women what happened, except that they were calling an ambulance. They took her to the police station, and would not tell her that they had killed her son. The cops say he was pointing a gun at two cops that were down the stairs, but the mother says there was there was nobody on the stairs and that all four cops were on the second floor.

This really just goes to show you, that unless you really really need to, do not call the cops. It usually just ends up bad.

It took a record 224 days for the individual American taxpayer to meet his or her share of the cost of government in 2009, a taxpayer watchdog group has calculated. (AP Photo)
Washington (CNSNews.com) – Americans had to work from January 1 until August 12 this year just to cover the cost of government. That is 26 days more than they had to work last year to cover the cost of government.

“Cost of Government Day” this year fell on Wednesday, August 12, according to Americans for Tax Reform, the conservative group that calculates when the day occurs. Cost of Government Day is the day in the year when the American people have earned enough income to pay the total cost of the spending and regulatory burden imposed by government at the federal, state, and local level.
