Government's Folly

There are so many stories out there where there was some domestic problems, or maybe there was a fight, or maybe their kids are acting out and somebody in the house calls the cops so they can come over and mediate. Then the cops come over and many times somebody ends up going to jail or at least in this case, somebody ends up dead.

According to the Chicago Tribune, a Libertyville Illinois women called the cops because her adult child was angry and depressed, and hitting the wall. It seemed that he had a gun and was contemplating killing himself. The cops came over, went upstairs to where the guy was and the guy ended up shot the back by the cops. For hours the cops wouldn’t tell this poor women what happened, except that they were calling an ambulance. They took her to the police station, and would not tell her that they had killed her son. The cops say he was pointing a gun at two cops that were down the stairs, but the mother says there was there was nobody on the stairs and that all four cops were on the second floor.

This really just goes to show you, that unless you really really need to, do not call the cops. It usually just ends up bad.
