Government's Folly

The Secretary of Treasury Timothy Geithner wants to have the power to take over firms just like the FDIC has the power to take over banks when they are going under and they will “impact the economy.” Do you know what kind of governments take over companies? The communist/fascist/socialist/nazi kinds. It is the kind of people that are worthless to society that always want to steal. They are thelooters of the world. They produce nothing, so they live off of the hard work of others. They use fear to take the hard work of others. They drive fear into the people. They rile the people up with anger. Those who see through the fear mongoring and the hate mongering are too few to stop it. They strike, not like a theif in the night, but by sending armed federal agents in broad daylight if you decide that they will not steal what is yours. The fear mongoring of the current administration is no different than that of the last.

What harm they will do to this country if this is allowed to pass.They can already take your property to give to some other private entity for development. They don’t even need the poor excuse of the public good anymore. What has this country come to?

Once upon a time, this country had a constitution that was enforced. The reason for this constitution was so that the people could not simply enact whatever statutes they wanted in the heat of the moment. This constitution was put there as a safeguard in order to prevent the tyrany of the majority. It was put there so people cannot simply vote property away from somebody simply because they have more. It was put there to protect the rights of all, and of especially the smallest minority, the individual.
