Chicago Machine
Apparently even the mainstream media has decided that it is the height of idiocy that Chicagoans have elected so many corrupted officials. Ok, they didn’t actually say that, but at least three articles of the Chicago Tribune (and one isn’t even an editorial by John Kass) are linking Mayor Daley to massive corruption. One is even calling for reform of some kind, though probably not the right kind of it. Of course, nothing will be done of it because Daley is king, and it doesn’t matter how corrupt the king is, he is still the king.
